I do agree with the point made in this article that there is no proof that your prayers can help reduce the pain and suffering of babies. Otherwise how can we explain the death of millions of children and babies. However, many research show that prayers may sometimes help with personal problems, by allowing your brain to come up with solutions or by boosting your general psyche to fight diseases. And who knows may be even babies can be helped through prayers. There is no conclusive evidence in either case.
Jesus is our true saviour. He has sacrificed his life for others. He taught compassion and forgiveness. He absolved the sins of the whole humanity. He provide inspiration for millions and billions of people. God sent his begotten son to save humanity. Jesus fulfilled God’s promise. He provided a pathway for redemption. Jesus promised all followers that “When I go I will prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you will be also” (John, 14:3). In Jesus’ mind we all are sinners, and many people face up to their sins and discover his forgiveness very powerfully, in Jesus’ presence. Jesus is a teacher, son, friend, healer, Messiah, and a savior.
Your comment sounds good, but did Jesus even exist?
There are plenty of evidence for his existence. What about his miraculous image that appears on his burial Shroud? Also, a cloth related to Jesus has now been proven to be 2000 years old. There are more evidence if you take time to search.
In any case, if Jesus existed, he didn’t do much to reduce human suffering. Too busy performing miracles, I guess.

When I pray to Allah, I feel peaceful from within. There may be some violent verses in the Quran, but the vast majority of Muslims will interpret them in a positive light. Most Muslims reject violence. I do agree that science is important to reduce human suffering, but prayers give you inner strength.
Books on positive thinking, choosing the right friend circle or practising mindfulness can all give you inner strength. why rely only on religion? You need to try different paths.
For me, my religion works best. Its a source of inspiration.
Have ever tried other paths?
Religion provides hope. Religious beliefs cannot be fully discarded just yet. We still waiting for science to unravel the mystery of a primary designer. Great conclusion though.
